Native American artists from the Navajo and Ute tribes create, hand-paint, and sign each piece. The painted forest image wraps around the vase and features a bison image on one side and an eagle in flight on the other. Bison tracks run along the bottom. This type of pottery is used in wedding ceremonies of some Southwestern tribes. The bride drinks blessed water from one spout, then the groom drinks from the other; this symbolizes two people coming together to form one whole. This piece makes an exceptional wedding gift for wildlife lovers. 4½” x 5½”
