Product Description

House Accessories Category: Your Kitchen Accessories collection can never have too many Trivets because they are so handy! This Montana Hummingbird Silhouette Red Trivet comes from a company with 25 years of experience making Trivets called Masterworks located in Tuscon, Arizona. They use a technique called cuerda seca or dry line decoration which dates back about 3,000. Their skilled artisans apply a glaze to each undecorated tile. When dry, the tile is then fired in a kiln to 1850 degrees Fahrenheit, which gives the tile both beauty and durability. This Humingbird Trivet comes from their Rustics Series. It is made of porcelain and features the silhouette of two flitting hummingbirds in front of mountains. It also includes a boarder of beautiful flowers. Measuring 6” by 6”, each piece is distinctly unique because of the kiln firing process. These old style Trivets are just what your Kitchen Accessories need for a little western flair!
