Celebrating St. Patrick's Day Amongst the COVID-19 Pandemic

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, our community has weathered several new and unanticipated changes.  Given current social distancing regulations, there is no denying that St. Patrick's Day will look a little different this year!  Regardless of current economic conditions, Montana has historically offered a broad array of St. Patrick's Day events in which we are able to look forward to in the years to come!  Here are a few of our favorites.

1. Butte, Montana

Butte is well-known for its high density of residents with Irish-decent.  In fact, the 2010 Census has identified that Butte, Montana has the highest population of Irish decedents in the country! This being said, Butte maintains their strong Irish heritage in the integration of traditional St. Patrick's Day festivities'!  Whether it be joining thousands of others celebrating St. Paddy's day at the Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade, or watching traditional bagpipers work their magic at the Annual Friendly Sons and Daughters of St. Patrick banquet, Butte offers something for everyone!  The Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade is still scheduled, despite COVID-19 restrictions.  For more information, click here!
