Susan Lordi has been working with Demdaco for many years to bring the delight of Willow Tree to people the world over. She self-describes as a maker and first began crafting these beloved pieces in 1999. When she begins her sculpting process, she really doesn't have a plan or a goal. She lets each piece form as the inspiration comes to her and soon she has a piece made of clay that she can fall in love with. From there, Demdaco creates resin casts of the original work in order for as many people as possible can bring her work into their homes and celebrate all those special relationships in their lives.
