Dean Crouser is a prolific watercolor artist and athlete. Born and raised in Oregon, like many of us in the Pacific Northwest, he grew up fishing, camping, and exploring the beautiful outdoors surrounding him. From those experiences, he channeled those sights and sounds into his artwork. He says that his goal is to keep artwork loose and simple, with an air of spontaneity. On top of art, he's had an accomplished career in the shot put and discus with the University of Oregon. Today, he still lives in Oregon with his wife and children, where he continues to paint.
