There is something about this time of year in Bozeman that makes the community feel extra lively. Longer days are coming, local events are popping up on the calendar, and it is the perfect excuse to get out, connect, and have some fun. Here are five happenings we are especially excited about, including one you can catch with us at Montana Gift Corral!
1. Winter Crazy Days | Feb 20–22, 2026
Hosted annually by the Downtown Bozeman Association, Winter Crazy Days weekend is known as one of the best winter shopping events in town. Local retailers offer deep discounts, restaurants roll out specials, and the whole downtown area feels electric!
We will be joining the fun with up to 75% off select lines in the shop (237 E Main St). It is a great time to snag gifts, décor, or something cozy for yourself after the holiday rush!

2. Menagerie of the Imaginary Lantern Parade | Feb 21, 2026
This magical after-dark parade winds through Gallatin Regional Park and feels straight out of a storybook. Giant glowing puppets created by local artists, handmade lanterns from community members, and live drummers create a warm, joyful atmosphere even on a chilly winter night.
Bundle up, bring the family, and soak in the creativity. It is one of those uniquely Bozeman traditions you will remember!

3. Sleeping Beauty Ballet | March 7–8, 2026
The Montana Ballet Company is teaming up with the Bozeman Symphony for a beautiful performance of Sleeping Beauty at Willson Auditorium. Guest artists from New York City Ballet will be featured alongside talented local performers!
If you love live music, dance, or simply an elegant night out, this is a wonderful way to experience the arts in our community.

4. MSU Spring Rodeo | April 10–13, 2026
Hosted by Montana State University at Brick Breeden Fieldhouse, the Spring Rodeo brings classic Montana energy front and center. Expect bronc riding, barrel racing, roping events, and plenty of Bobcat pride!
Whether you are a longtime rodeo fan or just curious, it is a fun and very Montana way to spend a weekend.

5. Bozeman Spring MADE Fair | May 1–2, 2026
Organized by Handmade Montana, the Bozeman Spring MADE Fair showcases more than 195 artisans and nonprofits. You will find everything from functional handmade goods to fine art pieces that can become family keepsakes!
VIP night happens Friday evening, early bird shopping Saturday morning, and then free general admission later in the day. It is a fantastic place to discover local creativity and support small makers.

We love sharing what is happening around town because community is really what makes Montana special. If you stop into the shop during Winter Crazy Days or catch us out at any of these events, be sure to say hello!
