John Fraley came to Montana to study Wildlife Biology at the Montana State University. After receiving his bachelor's degree he went on to receive his M.S. in Fish and Wildlife Management. After receiving his degrees, John Fraley moved North to the forks of the Flathead where he worked for forty years. While living there John Farley fell in love with the natural beauty and decided to share the rich history of his home.
