Sarah Hamouda, an engineer living in Dubai, had intense cravings during pregnancy for the Middle Eastern dish that consisted of kadayif, pistachio, and tahini. Realizing there wasn't really anything else quite like this in the world, she set out to develop a chocolate bar that used those flavors. With one viral video in 2022, the Dubai Chocolate bar exploded onto the scene and had people searching and scouring stores for it.
