Montana Gifts You Need for Spring

Montana Gifts You Need for Spring

Spring has arrived in Montana. The trees are budding, the sun is shining more often, and our spirits are high! This time of year always leaves us feeling inspired. We recently attended the Made in Montana Tradeshow in Helena, MT, and, as always, were amazed by the craftsmanship and passion of Montanans. In the spirit of supporting local makers and celebrating spring, we’ve compiled a list of our favorite Montana-made gifts for this season. We hope these locally crafted treasures bring a little bit of Montana’s beauty and creativity into your everyday this spring!

Chokecherry Jelly by Huckleberry Haven

Huckleberry is all the rage here in Montana, but if you haven't tried Chokecherry, you're really missing out. Chokecherries are little bursts of wild Montana goodness. They’re deep red to almost black, tart and tangy with just a hint of sweetness that sneaks up on you. A little puckery at first bite, they’re perfect for jams, jellies, syrups, or even a splash in baked treats!

Our Chokecherry Jelly by Huckleberry Haven is a staff favorite for good reason. Don’t let the word “choke” fool you, Chokecherry Jelly is a true treat for the senses! Spread it on fresh toast, a warm English muffin, or a buttery croissant for a burst of flavor in every bite. Based in Kalispell, Huckleberry Haven has decades of experience and perfects each recipe by handcrafting their treats in small batches. It’s the kind of locally made goodness that turns any snack into a little moment of joy!

Montana State Cutout Barnwood Sign with Metal Trout by Salvage Signs

Fishing season has started here in Montana, and pretty sure you'll see fly-fishermen and women in rivers all across the state! If you love fishing or even just Montana wildlife, make sure to check out our variety of handcrafted wall art from Salvage Signs.

Salvage Signs, based in Hamilton, MT, is where Jeff brings his artistic vision to life. As an avid outdoorsman, he draws inspiration from time spent on the trail. Fascinated by the naturally worn look of trail signs, he incorporates that rustic charm into his work, creating unique pieces that bring the outdoors into our homes. The Montana State Cutout Barnwood Sign with Metal Trout is the type of piece that will wow you each time you walk by. All of the wood is sourced from local Montana ranches and homesteads, giving each piece its own unique character and genuine authenticity. The metalwork on this sign is also Montana-made, reclaimed from an old tin billboard, adding even more history and charm to every piece. It’s a one-of-a-kind treasure that celebrates Montana craftsmanship and the beauty of the outdoors!

Our collection from Sunshine Can-dles has a ton of variety. From small to large candles, wax melts, and more, these candles are hand-poured with heart!

For spring, you can't go wrong with the Huckleberry Montana Candle. Made with all-natural soy wax, each candle is hand-poured for a clean, eco-friendly burn. Even better, the containers are crafted from repurposed materials like wine bottles, beer cans, or yogurt jars, giving new life to items that might otherwise be tossed away. The scent is effortlessly Montana. There’s nothing better than coming home to a space that smells like fresh pastries baked with Montana huckleberries!
