Behind the design is Kim Shirley, the founder and artist behind Corvidae Drawings & Designs. Based in western Montana, Kim founded Corvidae in 2016 with a love of gifting and a lifelong passion for creating. She earned her BFA with an emphasis in painting from BYU-Idaho and grew Corvidae from a handful of original gift-wrap designs into a collection of handcrafted home goods, gifts, and paper products. Every Corvidae illustration begins with Kim's own artwork, inspired by the outdoors, adventure, and the wonderfully unexpected things she encounters in everyday life. Corvidae's hand-pulled screen-printed products are crafted in Kim's Kalispell, Montana studio, where each piece receives individual care and attention. Kim's work is deeply connected to the Montana landscape, and she places an emphasis on creating useful, reusable products from quality, earth-conscious materials. Looking for some Montana whimsy? Look no further than the S'more Taxonomy Kitchen Tea Towel by Corvidae Drawings and Designs.
